Alexander (he/him) is a NYC-based music director and keyboardist. He holds the rank of Clinical Specialist & Music Supervisor for BFA Musical Theatre at Montclair State University and faculty advisor for Live in Living Color, a Global Majority student organization. From 2020 - 2022, he was interim Program Head for BFA Musical Theater at Pace University.
Alexander was an inaugural member of the 2020 artEquity BIPOC Leadership Circle and continues his DEIA training with artEquity, Nicole Brewer, Jacqueline Lawton, and Race Forward. As a continuation of creative change-making, he focuses on new work development at Montclair State with the Theatrical Rights Worldwide and the National Alliance for Musical Theatre.
He is an active member of the Musicians United for Social Equity (MUSE), AFM’s Local-802, and the BMI Lehman-Engel MT Advanced Workshop .
